Graduate Student, Anthropology

About

I am a second year graduate student studying linguistic anthropology in Laos.
Recently, I have become interested in the production of figures of personhood and prototypical relationships in games, namely Pétanque. I have begun learning about the important roles of different materials--mostly language, food, alcohol, bodies, and money--in this production.
Additionally, and in broad stokes, I am interested in linguistics, anthropology, Southeast Asian studies, and the histories of these disciplines and their branches.
